The ADRA CHILD Project; which stands for Child Health Improvement Through Livelihood Development, is currently in 30 villages across Cambodia. One of the main aims of this project is improving children’s health and lives through empowering parents and their local community.

The project has three objectives,

To improve Maternal and Child preventive health practices of parents and caregiver.
To improve livelihoods of parents and caregiver.
To improve child development practices of parents, caregivers and their communities.

The project works in partnership with relevant government offices at district level such as Women’s Affairs, Non-formal Education, Health and Agriculture.

	$250.00 NZD	Training local women in the benefits of maternal health and facets of hygiene and sanitation
	$800.00 NZD	Help Mr Lim set up his library so he can show educational video to the children
	$1,200.00 NZD	Mobile library running costs including wages
	$3,000.00 NZD	Mobile library including purchase of the motorbike and set up of the library
