The initiative and ideas of young people never cease to amaze us!  From mufti days and cookie sales to creating ambulances out of cardboard and hearts out of gold coins, there are endless ways for schools to fundraise for St John. Need a little inspiration?  Our fundraising team can help with ideas and planning.

Example of how a school fundraised:

St Michael’s Catholic School

When 10-year-old Esmenia was injured in a community sports event, St John was on hand to help.  The care our medical crew provided to grateful and thoughtful Esmenia spurred her to hold a fundraiser at her school during our annual appeal.

Following our ‘Heart of Gold’ theme, Esmenia worked with her teachers to organise a mufti day during St John Annual Appeal, asking all her schoolmates to dress in St John colors – gold and green. Esmenia's initiative raised just short of $500 for St John and is one of many simple and effective ideas.
