Give it up for New Zealand's animals in need!

It couldn't be easier. Choose something to give up for a period of time and ask your friends, family, colleagues, neighbours, teachers, yoga instructors and taxi drivers to make a donation. All of the money you raise will go directly towards helping New Zealand's sick, injured, abandoned and abused animals.

How to 'Give it up for the animals':

  1. Choose what you are going to give up. It could be:

    - Something you consume a lot of (ie. alcohol, coffee or chocolate)
    - Something you want to do less of (ie. talking, social media or your cellphone)
    - Something you want to give up completely (ie. meat, smoking or fast food)

  2. Decide how long you're going to give it up for (a week/a month/a year?)

  3. Click on the 'Give it up!' button (on the right of the page)

  4. Create your 'Give it up!' page

  5. Personalise your page with a photo and your story - what will you be giving up and why have you chosen to support SPCA?

  6. Email your URL to everyone you know and post it on your social media page(s) to ask for donations

  7. Give it up for as long as you can, safe in the knowledge that you're making a difference to thousands of lives across New Zealand
