Relay For Life is an inspirational fun event for everyone of all ages and fitness levels, during which we Celebrate with survivors, Remember loved ones lost to cancer and come together as a community to Fight back against cancer.

This summer over 3000 people from around the greater Wellington Region will come together to celebrate 16 years of Relay For Life.

Marquee tents are provided for each registered team.  Team members take turns relay style walking/running around a track while enjoying a carnival atmosphere of music, entertainment, food stalls and fantastic community spirit.

Just click on the ‘Register' button to get started now!

Families, service and community organisations, corporate groups, local businesses, schools and sporting clubs are encouraged to register for the event!

$20 REGISTRATION FEE PER PERSON - Please note that registration fees are non-refundable.

All teams that participate are  given a team marquee, Relay T-shirt, big breakfast on Sunday, eligibility for spot prizes on event.

We ask all teams to support us by committing to fundraising a minimum of $200 per person to enable Cancer Society to continue providing services to the community.

Afternoon tea will be provided to all the Survivors and Carers.

Cancer Society Wellington

One in three New Zealanders will be affected by cancer in their lifetime. The Cancer Society Wellington provides free support services and information for people going through cancer treatment and their friends, family and whānau. The Cancer Society is the largest funder of cancer research after the government. As an independent organisation the Cancer Society receives no direct government funding and is entirely reliant on the generosity of New Zealanders to provide these services. So thank you.
