Give something up to raise funds for disadvantaged Kiwi kids!

It could be your daily cup of coffee, a sugar free month or leave your car at home for a week. Or get your kids involved with no TV for a week!  Ask your friends and family to support your challenge by making an online donation.

In just minutes you can build and customise your page, then start sharing the link with your friends, family and colleagues and asking them to make a donation. Every donation is then recorded on your fundraising page along with a message of support from your donors.

Choose where you want your funds raised to go...

You can choose to support one of our three core programmes - Kiwi Kid Sponsorship, Laptops for Learning or Bikes for Kids.

The money you raise makes a difference...

$540 will sponsor a Kiwi kid for 12 months – how many children can you sponsor?
$500 will provide a laptop for a low-decile school - how many laptops can you provide to a school?
$250 will provide a bike and a helmet for a disadvantaged Kiwi kid - how many bikes can you help provide?

Or leave it up to us – we can assure you that the funds you raise will to go to the most pressing need at the time!

Variety - the Children's Charity

Every day, more than 1 in 4 Kiwi kids are going without the basics that most of us take for granted.

Deprivation can lead to children feeling stigmatised and left out. This has a profound impact on their health, education and self-esteem. In the long term, it can mean lower academic achievements, reduced employment prospects, lower earnings and poorer health.

At Variety – the Children’s Charity, we are committed to providing tailored, flexible support to disadvantaged children across New Zealand. We work alongside schools, community agencies, social workers and healthcare professionals to identify children in need. We provide these kids with basic essentials, one-off grants for extra needs, and access to extra-curricular activities.

With our support, they can have access to the same opportunities as other kids, a happier, healthier childhood and the foundation for a better future.
